Clinton Rally in Fort Dub

Last Tuesday I attended a Hillary Clinton rally that featured President Clinton as the main speaker.

As many of you know I am an Obama supporter but I LOVED Bill Clinton and all of the GREAT things he did for this country when he was in the office.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew that Mr. Clinton would be speaking about Hillary and why she would make a good President but I what I didn’t expect was how in-depth he was going to be about her, her policies, and why he thinks she’d make the best President.

The event attracted over four thousand people and the room quickly filled up and they had to turn a great deal of people away. I started at the front of the event but as the temperature in the room grew because of the long wait for Mr. Clinton to arrive I decided to move back to the press platform to try and get some air.

It turned out that I had a better view of what was happening when I moved back and didn’t have to try and see over the guy with a huge hat and sign blocking the way the entire time.

Mr. Clinton was late as I had expected and the event got a late start. A great deal of people in the event were made aware of the event via an email that “Hillary” sent to local supporters. Tiffany received the email and of course is the one that wanted to go as she is a Clinton supporter.

The once great President of the United States talked for about three hours about Hillary, her policies and why we should vote for her. One line that met resounding cheers was, “Which part of my presidency didn’t you like? The peace or the prosperity?” which got a large round of applause and then he followed it up with a promise that Hillary’s presidency would be even better.

On the way in to the event we were stopped by Ron Paul supporters handing out brochures who would be later removed from the building only to be removed two more times and nearly arrested by the end of the night.

The majority of people seemed to be agreeing with what Mr. Clinton was saying and I only saw one older lady who kept shaking her head in disgust leading me to wonder why she even came.

I’m not going to lie… Mr. Clinton still has it… and Hillary was in one of our local diners today and is building a LARGE momentum in Fort Wayne that Barrack Obama will be unable to combat unless he actually makes an apperance in the town to show he cares.

Kohl’s WILL Ruin Your Wedding Registry

June is coming… and that means my wedding is quickly coming.

Wedding registries have been a big part that Tiffany has been working on. Recently we went to Kohls and took care of our registry. We have a lot of friends that LOVE LOVE LOVE Kohls and we both admit they have some great merchandise that we wanted to have on our wedding registry.

So we drove an hour away to our nearest Kohls store and setup a registry account.

The Manager asked for our drivers licenses for collateral so we could take the scanner and select the merchandise we wanted for our registry.

Four hours later we finally had completed our albeit short list. We double checked that the items we wanted were appearing on the scanner and then went back to the desk to get our IDs back.

About twenty minutes later because they had “missplaced” our licesnces (aka lost them!!!) we finally get our IDs back and after another series of interogations about finding everything we wanted they said it would appear online in about an hour.

We went out for dinner and drove the hour long trip back.

We spent about 8 hours of that day working on the registry. I actually took the day off for this specific task.

Leave it to a HORRIBLE retailer like Kohls to destory and waste all of that time.

Earlier today Tiffany called with an almost panic in her voice.

She went online to check our registry as she had prepared the invitations with information about our registry at Kohls.

When she got online what did she find… our wedding registry was totally and completly blank. Not a single item on it.

Yup… that is right… we wasted eight hours, I took a day off from work, we got our IDs nearly stolen by Kohls and we had our invitations already printed with information about being registered at Kohls only to find out Kohls has no information.

Moral of the story: Don’t waste your time with Kohls.

P.S

I’m forwarding information about this blog to Kohl’s. Will see if I get any response (highly unlikely).

P.S.S

We will NEVER shop at Kohls again and I’m taking the day off tomorrow to go register at Target.

Movie Quote of the Moment
I heard voices but they've stopped so I'm going to assume there is no one in there.
