Clinton Rally in Fort Dub
Last Tuesday I attended a Hillary Clinton rally that featured President Clinton as the main speaker.
As many of you know I am an Obama supporter but I LOVED Bill Clinton and all of the GREAT things he did for this country when he was in the office.
I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew that Mr. Clinton would be speaking about Hillary and why she would make a good President but I what I didn’t expect was how in-depth he was going to be about her, her policies, and why he thinks she’d make the best President.
The event attracted over four thousand people and the room quickly filled up and they had to turn a great deal of people away. I started at the front of the event but as the temperature in the room grew because of the long wait for Mr. Clinton to arrive I decided to move back to the press platform to try and get some air.
It turned out that I had a better view of what was happening when I moved back and didn’t have to try and see over the guy with a huge hat and sign blocking the way the entire time.
Mr. Clinton was late as I had expected and the event got a late start. A great deal of people in the event were made aware of the event via an email that “Hillary” sent to local supporters. Tiffany received the email and of course is the one that wanted to go as she is a Clinton supporter.
The once great President of the United States talked for about three hours about Hillary, her policies and why we should vote for her. One line that met resounding cheers was, “Which part of my presidency didn’t you like? The peace or the prosperity?” which got a large round of applause and then he followed it up with a promise that Hillary’s presidency would be even better.
On the way in to the event we were stopped by Ron Paul supporters handing out brochures who would be later removed from the building only to be removed two more times and nearly arrested by the end of the night.
The majority of people seemed to be agreeing with what Mr. Clinton was saying and I only saw one older lady who kept shaking her head in disgust leading me to wonder why she even came.
I’m not going to lie… Mr. Clinton still has it… and Hillary was in one of our local diners today and is building a LARGE momentum in Fort Wayne that Barrack Obama will be unable to combat unless he actually makes an apperance in the town to show he cares.

Spin
When we won Iowa, the Clinton campaign said it’s not the number of states you win, it’s “a contest for delegates.”
When we won a significant lead in delegates, they said it’s really about which states you win.
When we won South Carolina, they discounted the votes of African-Americans.
When we won predominantly white, rural states like Idaho, Utah, and Nebraska, they said those didn’t count because they won’t be competitive in the general election.
When we won in Washington State, Wisconsin, and Missouri — general election battlegrounds where polls show Barack is a stronger candidate against John McCain — the Clinton campaign attacked those voters as “latte-sipping” elitists.
And now that we’ve won more than twice as many states, the Clinton spin is that only certain states really count.
But the facts are clear.
For all their attempts to discount, distract, and distort, we have won more delegates, more states, and more votes.
Meanwhile, more than half of the votes that Senator Clinton has won so far have come from just five states. And in four of these five states, polls show that Barack would be a stronger general election candidate against McCain than Clinton.

Friends
We may not know the final outcome of today’s voting until morning, but the results so far make one thing clear.
When the dust settles from today’s contests, we will maintain our substantial lead in delegates. And thanks to millions of people standing for change, we will keep adding delegates and capture the Democratic nomination.
We knew from the day we began this journey that the road would be long. And we knew what we were up against.
We knew that the closer we got to the change we seek, the more we’d see of the politics we’re trying to end — the attacks and distortions that try to distract us from the issues that matter to people’s lives, the stunts and the tactics that ask us to fear instead of hope.
But this time — this year — it will not work. The challenges are too great. The stakes are too high.
Americans need real change.
In the coming weeks, we will begin a great debate about the future of this country with a man who has served it bravely and loves it dearly. And we will offer two very different visions of the America we see in the twenty-first century.
John McCain has already dismissed our call for change as eloquent but empty.
But he should know that it’s a call that did not begin with my words. It’s the resounding call from every corner of this country, from first-time voters and lifelong cynics, from Democrats and Republicans alike.
And together you and I are going to grow this movement to deliver that change in November.
Thank you,
Barack

If…
If you value civil liberties and if you are still undecided between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton keep this in mind:
In the Senate, Mr. Obama distinguished himself by making civil liberties one of his legislative priorities. He co-sponsored a bipartisan reform bill that would have cured the worst excesses of the Patriot Act by meaningfully tightening the standards for warrantless surveillance. Once again, he helped encourage a coalition of civil-libertarian liberals and libertarian conservatives. The effort failed when Hillary Clinton joined 13 other Democrats in supporting a Republican motion to cut off debate on amendments to the Patriot Act.

Hillary: Pwned
On Friday morning’s episode of the Today Show on NBC, host Matt Lauer discussed Monday night’s testy debate between presidential candidates Sens. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Barack Obama (D-IL). In particular, he focused on her allegation that Obama had represented Tony Rezko, the indicted Chicago businessman whom she referred to as a “slum lord.”
Lauer then presented Clinton with a photo of Rezko posing between Sen. Clinton as first lady and her husband during his presidency.

Clinton Cheating In Nevada
Everyone is reporting election irregularities on the part of the Hillary campaign. There is widespread cheating and voter suppression going on all over Clark County–and it’s obviously coming in from the top down. Whether it made enough of a difference to swing the election is another question–but there is no question that Hillary was running a scorched-earth, no-holds-barred campaign in which all of her surrogates were instructed to cheat in every way possible.
Several reports that Clinton cheated and supressed votes for Obama are coming in from a large number of people. I almost didn’t believe it… but a video exists proving it.
I’m personally an Obama supporter and honestly my first thought is that Hillary WILL cheat to win the election. Then I tried to convince myself she wouldn’t do that… apparently she is.
